The event is part of the festival’s 10-year anniversary celebrations, and organizers are promising a memorable experience packed with music, food, and entertainment.

This edition will feature performances from some of Uganda’s exciting music stars, including King Saha, Kapeke, Kalifah Aganaga, and John Blaq. The artists are expected to deliver energetic live sets for revelers throughout the day.

They will be joined by other performers such as Double Black, Ivuga Band, and C Wayne, alongside several DJs who will keep the party going between performances.

Organized by Swangz Avenue, Roast And Rhyme has grown into one of Uganda’s most loved lifestyle festivals. The event blends live Ugandan music with grilled meat, fashion, games, and a relaxed outdoor picnic atmosphere.

This particular edition will also highlight rising dancehall artist Ecko Star, continuing the festival’s tradition of introducing new talent to bigger audiences.

To mark the 10-year milestone, the organizers say this year’s setup will be bigger and better. Revelers can expect improved stage design, upgraded sound and lighting, and more immersive visual elements to elevate the festival experience.

Gates will open at 11:00 AM, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy everything planned for the day. Beyond the live performances, guests can look forward to nyama choma grills, interactive games, art experiences, and vibrant social spaces that capture the signature Roast And Rhyme picnic vibe.

Known for its laid-back outdoor setting, the festival allows people to relax with friends, grill meat, share food, and enjoy live band performances while soaking in Kampala’s lively social scene.
