“Sheilah Gashumba is very loaded and among the highest-paid figures in media,” says Frank Gashumba.

Beyond the praise, Sheilah has built a strong name for herself as a media personality, TV host, and influencer. She has worked with major TV stations in Uganda, hosted entertainment shows, and established herself as a prominent figure in nightlife and brand promotion.

Through her social media platforms, brand partnerships, and club appearances, she has turned her personal brand into a lucrative business.

Speaking to Sanyuka TV, Frank Gashumba revealed that his daughter doesn’t necessarily have to work extremely hard to earn, noting that she reportedly makes about UGX 5 million for just an hour’s appearance.

To back up his claims, he recalled a time when he faced a financial crisis and Sheilah stepped in to lend him money—money he later paid back.

“She makes money. So whenever you see her in the nightlife, she’s working,” Frank explained, adding that some bars and entertainment spots give her between 15% and 20% of their sales during her appearances.

He further shared that one of his greatest achievements is educating his daughter to a level where she can sustain herself independently.

“I sit back comfortably and confident that even if I were no longer around, she would not struggle financially.” he said.

Frank also encouraged men to support the women in their lives—daughters, sisters, and wives—to work and become financially independent, emphasizing that it provides security and stability in uncertain times.
