UNMF President Eddy Kenzo has finally addressed the viral picture that appeared to show him being picked up from his seat during the presidential inauguration ceremony held at Kololo Independence Grounds on 12th May 2026.

According to Kenzo, the image was completely misleading and did not reflect what truly happened at the event. The singer explained that he peacefully enjoyed the ceremony while seated next to his wife, Hon. Phiona Nyamutooro, without any interruption whatsoever.
“I was equally shocked seeing that picture online because no one picked me up from my seat,” Kenzo explained, adding that he attended the event officially and sat exactly where his invitation card directed him.

Kenzo further emphasized that he is a senior government official and presidential advisor who cannot attend such ceremonies without invitation.
When asked whether the viral image humiliated him as a respected public figure, the Big Talent boss dismissed the claims, insisting that the photo was AI-generated and didn’t bother him at all.
“I wasn’t bothered by it all, because people were given a right to do anything they please using technology and there’s nothing we can do,” he said, adding that he chose to let the matter pass.
