Social commentator and businessman Frank Gashumba has revealed that his wife, Malaika Mutoni, does not cook at home because that is not part of the role he expects her to play in their marriage.

Speaking during an interview with Isaac Daniel Katende, popularly known as Kasuku, Frank explained that his wife’s responsibility is to supervise the household staff rather than carry out domestic chores herself.

According to him, Malaika’s role is to ensure that the house helps perform their duties properly and that everything in the home runs smoothly.

“Her duty is to oversee what the house helps are doing and tell them what to cook,” Frank said.

He further noted that after returning from work, Malaika simply checks whether the tasks she assigned have been completed before taking time to relax.

“When she comes back from work, her only job is to check if all she told the house helps to do is done, then head to the bedroom and watch Netflix,” he explained.

Frank emphasized that he never married his wife with the expectation that she would cook for him, adding that their household is adequately staffed to handle such responsibilities.

“Malaika can’t smell onions. I didn’t marry her to cook for me,” he remarked.

He added that the most important thing for him is his wife’s happiness and companionship, insisting that domestic chores are not her concern because they have enough support to take care of the home.
