- Zari confirmed she underwent a temporal lift, not a full facelift.
- She blamed a dramatic makeup style for making her appearance look more exaggerated.
- The socialite encouraged people to make personal beauty choices without fear of criticism.
Socialite Zari Hassan has finally addressed the cosmetic surgery rumours that have dominated social media after photos and videos of her appearance sparked widespread debate.

The mother of five said she was surprised that her face had become a national talking point, joking that among everything happening, people had chosen to focus on her appearance.
“So, for some reason, my face is a whole national discussion,” she said. “Among all the things we have to talk about, it’s my face.”
Zari admitted that she underwent a temporal lift, a cosmetic procedure around the eye area, but dismissed claims that she had a full facelift.

“I did a temporal lift. It’s around the eyes. It’s not a full facelift because usually full facelifts involve being cut and all of that stuff,” she explained.
She also clarified that the dramatic look seen in viral photos was largely the result of makeup. According to Zari, her makeup artist, Sami, experimented with a new “fox eye” style that made her eyes appear more lifted than they actually were.
“The makeup was a little extra. Sami wanted to try something new on my face… it ended up taking my eyes all the way up,” she said.
While defending her decision, Zari insisted she was not hiding anything and had no reason to “gatekeep” cosmetic procedures.
“I’m not gatekeeping. If you have to do anything that’s going to make you feel better about yourself, why not?” she said.
The businesswoman also maintained that she has always been beautiful and simply chose to enhance her appearance as she gets older.
“I’ve always been a beautiful woman. I’m just enhancing as we get older. Things change,” she added.
Appearing makeup-free in the video, Zari urged people to stop obsessing over her face, saying the public reaction had been blown out of proportion.
“This is my face. Can we all calm down now?” she said. “The makeup exaggerated everything.”
