Ugandan musician Kapa Cat has criticized the current generation of artists, describing them as “dull and boring” for shying away from music battles that she believes are good for promotion and entertainment.

Speaking in a recent interview on Galaxy TV, Kapa Cat revealed that she has approached several female artists with proposals for friendly music battles, but many have turned her down out of fear.

She specifically mentioned singer Karole Kasita, saying she personally asked her to take part in a musical showdown, but the request was declined.

“There are some female artists I reach out to and ask to have a music battle and they decline, saying they’re fearing and can’t do it,” Kapa Cat said.

According to the singer, music battles should not be viewed as personal attacks but rather as exciting promotional opportunities that help entertain fans while showcasing artists’ talents.

Kapa Cat maintained that she is confident in her musical ability and would be willing to face any artist in a battle.

“I can battle anyone because I’m musical and an entertainer,” she said.

However, she admitted there is one artist she holds in particularly high regard—veteran musician Peter Miles. Even then, she said she would still accept the challenge if the opportunity arose, provided the contest remained focused purely on music.

“The only artist I could fear musically would be Peter Miles, but if the chance came and I had to do it, I would, as long as the battle is just music,” she added.
