Speaking about the speculation, Salvado said many of the claims circulating online are fueled by people who thrive on negativity.

“Misery loves company,” he said, describing the nature of internet gossip.

He explained that his wife’s relocation abroad was a carefully considered family decision. She initially moved after securing a scholarship to further her studies and later earned an apprenticeship with a major company.

After completing the apprenticeship, she was immediately offered a full-time job.

According to him, supporting her decision was easy because it presented opportunities that were difficult to find back home.

“When she called me, I supported her because back home she was struggling to make money as she was my money. When I didn’t make money, she didn’t make any as I was the one making money at home,” he said.

The comedian admitted that living apart has been emotionally challenging for both of them, but they chose to prioritize their family’s future over their immediate happiness.

“I sacrificed my happiness for her and the family because eventually she can easily adapt into the society and probably take the children with her,” he explained.

Salvado added that, like many parents, they hope to give their children access to better opportunities and a brighter future, stressing that their decision was made together and should not be mistaken for a marital breakdown.
