Radio personality Collins Bareija, popularly known as The Romantic Mukiga, has opened up about an unfortunate experience from one of his wedding MC jobs where he was unknowingly paid with counterfeit US dollars.
Speaking during a recent interview on The Ugandan Boys Talk Show podcast, The Romantic Mukiga recalled discovering that the payment he had received for the event was fake.
“There was a time I did a gig at a wedding and they were fake dollars,” he shared.
Despite the disappointing experience, he explained that the matter was eventually resolved after he raised a complaint with those responsible for the payment.
