Singer Lydia Jazmine has revealed that legendary Ugandan musician Mesach Ssemakula remains her all-time favorite artist, saying she knows every single one of his songs.

Speaking in a recent interview, Jazmine expressed deep admiration for the veteran singer, describing him as someone who has never disappointed her.

“He is one person who’s never wrong in my eyes,” she said.

Beyond his music, Jazmine also praised Ssemakula for the fatherly role he played in her career. She recalled how he stood by her and supported her during her maiden concert, a gesture she says she will always cherish.

The singer also opened up about her love for classic Ugandan music, naming Phoebe Nassolo as her favorite female artist from the kikadde era.

According to Jazmine, Nassolo’s hit “Kwata Wano” is her favorite song. She revealed that whenever she is out with friends and old-school music is playing, she always requests the track.
