Kampala is set for a unique blend of elite boxing and luxury entertainment as the inaugural Pearl of Africa Fight Night makes its debut on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Fairway Hotel Kampala.

The event promises to go beyond the traditional boxing experience by combining championship fights with premium hospitality, gourmet dining, live entertainment, and an upscale nightlife atmosphere.

The hotel’s gardens will be transformed into an open-air boxing arena, where some of Uganda’s top professional boxers will compete. Headlining the fight card is Fazil Juma, who returns home for his highly anticipated homecoming bout, alongside rising boxing star Isaac Zebra and several other professional fighters.

Beyond the action inside the ring, guests can expect live DJ performances, signature cocktails, fine dining, celebrity appearances, luxury VIP lounges, and world-class production inspired by some of the biggest international fight nights.

According to the organisers, the goal is to create an event that blends sport with lifestyle and entertainment.

“We wanted to create something Uganda has never seen before. This is more than a boxing event; it’s where sport, entertainment and lifestyle come together,” the organisers said.

The event is expected to attract corporate executives, business leaders, diplomats, celebrities, sports personalities, influencers, and boxing fans, making it one of Kampala’s biggest social and sporting gatherings of the year.

Tickets are already on sale, with Early Bird tickets priced at UGX 50,000, Standard tickets at UGX 100,000, and VIP tables for eight available at UGX 2.5 million.
