Socialite Zari The Boss Lady has sparked heated debate after advising women in relationships with financially controlling partners to cheat, arguing that it can sometimes be a form of “self-defense.”

Speaking on her TikTok, Zari said women whose partners prevent them from working yet fail to adequately provide for them should consider finding support elsewhere. However, she stressed that anyone who follows her advice does so at their own risk.
“People are going to say that I’m spoiling their women, but women need to cheat,” she said, before joking that if things go wrong, she would be at home enjoying her own marriage.
According to her, many men have multiple partners, which she claimed is one reason they rarely dwell on relationship conflicts for long.

She argued that women should also have at least one person outside the relationship who can support them emotionally and financially, especially if their partners are neglecting their responsibilities.
“If you have a chance and there’s someone out there willing to invest in you and take your stress away, please cheat,” she said.
Zari directed her remarks particularly at women whose partners stop them from earning an income but still fail to meet their financial needs. She questioned how such women are expected to afford necessities like sanitary pads, hair appointments, or other personal essentials when they have no independent source of income.
She further claimed that some men become controlling and calculate every coin they give their partners, leaving women unable to take care of themselves. In her view, this also contributes to why some men seek attention elsewhere, as the same women they neglect are unable to maintain the appearance those men expect.
In one of her most controversial remarks, Zari concluded that cheating on a man who neither provides for nor takes care of his partner should not be viewed as infidelity but rather as “self-defense.”
