LeftHook Boxing Promotion has officially released the full fight card and schedule for the highly anticipated Pearl of Africa Fight Night, set to take place on Saturday, August 8, at Fairway Hotel in Kampala.

The event will feature 12 bouts across different weight divisions, with both rising local boxers and regional talent expected to entertain fans.

The headline contest will see Fazil Juma take on Tanzania’s John D. Joseph in an eight-round super bantamweight clash. Another eight-round contest on the card will feature heavyweight Stuart Zimuula facing Babu Yusuf.

Other scheduled fights include Paul Rackara against Dest Mandefu in the welterweight division, while K.O. Busungu will battle Fredrick Okou in a six-round middleweight contest.

The event will also showcase lightweight, bantamweight, cruiserweight, super featherweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and super lightweight contests. Marion Akakunda is set to face Brendah Muduuwa in one of the night’s notable women’s bouts, while Twahir Hussein will meet Marvin Mpima in the lightweight division.

Two fights are yet to have opponents confirmed, with Mulungi Kasim and Isaac Zebra Jr. awaiting their challengers.

According to the organizers, doors will open at 5:00 p.m., with the first bell scheduled to ring at 6:00 p.m. The event has been put together by matchmakers Colline Mutyaba and Farouk Ameroon, who have assembled a card aimed at delivering an exciting evening of professional boxing for fans attending the Fairway Hotel.
