Veteran Ugandan singer Grace Nakimera has opened up about whether she has ever considered undergoing a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), saying she is comfortable with her natural body and would rather not interfere with nature.

Speaking during an interview with media personality Roger Otis, Nakimera admitted that she could consider the cosmetic procedure, but fears the possible complications associated with it.

She said she has heard stories of women struggling to recover from the surgery for months, with some reportedly developing complications despite taking medication and antibiotics.

“I always hear stories about these surgeries and how people take antibiotics but they don’t work. Even after eight months, someone is still not healed,” Nakimera said.

Otis brought up socialite Bad Black, whose cosmetic transformation has previously attracted public attention, noting that some women in the limelight endure significant pain in their quest to maintain a youthful appearance.

However, Nakimera said she has no problem growing older and does not feel pressured to change her appearance simply because of her age.

“If someone tells me I am 60 or 40, I am fine with it. That is my age, after all,” she said.

The singer explained that she is grateful to God for the body she has and therefore sees little reason to alter it to look different.

Nakimera also urged people, particularly women, to embrace their natural appearance instead of constantly trying to fight the ageing process.

For now, she said, she would rather remain comfortable in her own skin than take what she considers an unnecessary risk with cosmetic surgery.

BBLs have become increasingly popular among celebrities and socialites, with some Ugandan public figures openly acknowledging that they have undergone the procedure, while others have faced speculation over whether they have had one.
