Ugandan singer David Lutalo has dismissed claims that he has faded from the music scene, arguing that the strong foundation on which he built his career cannot easily be shaken by a period of silence.

Speaking in a recent interview on BBS Terefayina, Lutalo addressed concerns from people who have questioned his current absence from the spotlight and suggested that he is no longer as active as he once was.

According to the singer, his career was built around good music, giving him a foundation strong enough to withstand the ups and downs of the entertainment industry.

“I built my career on a strong foundation and it’s surrounded by God,” Lutalo said.

He explained that being less visible does not necessarily mean an artist has lost relevance. Instead, he believes that sometimes stepping back from the public eye can work in an artist’s favour by allowing audiences to miss them and ultimately creating more demand for their return.

Lutalo maintained that his music career is not something that can simply disappear because of a period of silence, noting that the foundation he has established over the years continues to speak for him.

He further emphasized his belief in the lasting power of music, saying that regardless of the obstacles one may face in life, music will always remain.
