Ugandan music duo Kataleya and Kandle have opened up about a bizarre experience they encountered under their former management, revealing how they were made to believe they had been gifted a car, only to later discover it was part of a publicity stunt.

The singers humorously referred to the vehicle as a “view once car” while narrating the incident during a media interview.

According to the duo, their management picked them up and directed them to a particular venue. They assumed they were heading for a video shoot, but upon arrival, they were surprised to find hundreds of journalists and bloggers waiting for them.

Among the people they spotted was radio personality and musician Black Shuga, who they said looked exceptionally smart that day. Kataleya and Kandle initially assumed the event could have been about Black Shuga, perhaps even a surprise proposal.

However, their attention soon shifted to a car whose number plate reportedly carried their names, Kataleya and Kandle. When they asked Black Shuga about it, they were reportedly told that the vehicle belonged to them.

The duo said they drove the vehicle for several days and even took it to a washing bay the following day. However, the excitement was short-lived when the car suddenly disappeared.

The singers recalled criticism from several media personalities, including Prima Kardashian, who argued that it would have made more sense to buy two affordable cars so each singer could have her own vehicle.

Looking back, Kataleya and Kandle admitted that Prima had a point, joking that they never even discovered the full “horrors” of the car and now consider the incident among the experiences that contributed to their frustrations with their former management.
