Ugandan singer Pretty Banks has opened up about her views on love, marriage and family, revealing that she hopes to one day settle down and build a stable family of her own.

Speaking during an interview with Victor Eo, the singer described herself as a lover girl and said she strongly believes in the idea of having a family. For Pretty Banks, however, becoming a mother is something she wants to experience within marriage rather than before it.

“I really want to have children, I want to get married and have a stable family. I believe in family, and that is something I want for myself,” she said.

The singer made it clear that she does not intend to have children before marriage, saying she would rather wait until she has built the kind of family foundation she believes in.

Her comments also touched on her current love life. When asked whether she was seeing someone, Pretty Banks admitted that there is currently someone making an effort to win her heart and potentially end her single life.

“There is someone trying to woo me and pull me off the singlehood shelf. He sees his whole life and everything in me, so I am still analysing the situation,” she said.

Pretty Banks explained that although she believes strongly in love, she is careful when it comes to matters of the heart. She wants to take her time and make sure anyone who comes into her life passes what she jokingly described as her “security checks.”
