- Omulangira Ndawusi says Jeff Kiwa’s decision to push Ava Peace as Sheebah’s replacement has not worked.
- He questions whether Ava Peace can currently command a major concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
- Ndawusi believes Kiwa’s recent appearance on “Yeffe” with Dr. Jose Chameleone signals a search for a new creative direction.
Veteran media personality Omulangira Ndawusi has given his verdict on Jeff Kiwa’s decision to build a new musical project around singer Ava Peace, suggesting that the venture has not delivered the results that were expected.

Speaking during an interaction with Kasuku, Ndawusi said he has not had an opportunity to speak to Kiwatule for a long time, but if they met, he would tell him directly that the project of having Ava Peace take over the position previously associated with Sheebah has not worked.
According to Ndawusi, Ava Peace has not yet reached the level where she can independently command major venues, pointing to Lugogo Cricket Oval as an example.
“I have taken long without seeing Jeff Kiwa, but if I met him, I would tell him that the project he adopted of having Ava Peace replace Sheebah has failed,” Ndawusi said.

He argued that the fact that Jeff has not attempted to organise a major concert for Ava Peace at Lugogo Cricket Oval is an indication that the project has stalled and has not progressed as initially anticipated.
Ndawusi also pointed to Kiwa’s recent creative direction, particularly his decision to feature himself on songs such as “Yeffe,” featuring Dr. Jose Chameleone, as another sign that he may be searching for a different formula.
“Even Ava Peace was supposed to be the one singing this song, but Jeff realised she would not bring it out the way he wanted, so he had to bring in Dr. Jose Chameleone,” he added.
Ndawusi further noted Kiwa’s appearance in the video, arguing that the move could be part of an attempt to explore another creative direction.
Ava Peace previously enjoyed a strong run of attention, particularly during her time working with Mudra, but Ndawusi believes her momentum has since cooled.
