“I don’t know if they’ve sent me anything, I don’t have proof,” he said.

The singer explained that he chooses to believe in the spirituality that resonates with him, making it clear that his beliefs are not necessarily tied to religious practices.

“I believe in the most high but not religion things,” he added.

Having spent approximately three years in the music industry, Echoled also shared an observation about how musicians relate to and appreciate one another. According to him, there is a need for artists to do more in recognising their colleagues’ efforts, particularly when someone comes up with something fresh and different.

“If an artist has come through with something new, they should be appreciated,” he said.

Echoled believes that appreciating fellow musicians can help uplift them and encourage them to work harder. He noted that some artists, including Joshua Baraka and A Pass, have embraced the practice of recognising the work and contributions of their colleagues.

He sees this as a positive approach that can inspire other musicians to improve their craft, become more creative and bring something new to the industry. However, he observed that although some artists are doing their part, many others have yet to embrace the same culture of appreciation.
