Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president and singer, Eddy Kenzo has finally addressed the remarks made by fellow singer A-Pass regarding a possible music battle, bringing some clarity to a social media exchange that had stirred fans.

For days, a war of words—largely driven by A-Pass—has been making rounds online. At one point, the “Chupa Ku Chupa” hitmaker confidently dared the Big Talent boss to a lyrical showdown, claiming he would thrash him hands down and even questioning Kenzo’s worth as an opponent.
However, Kenzo has now downplayed the challenge, making it clear that such battles are not his focus.
“I don’t have time for music battles. I’m not a battler,” Kenzo said.
“I’m also not very active on social media, so I didn’t see the need to respond.”

The “Sitya Loss” singer emphasized that he holds no grudge against A Pass and chose not to escalate the situation, suggesting the tension may have been one-sided from the start.
Interestingly, A-Pass himself appears to have toned down his stance in recent days. The singer has since praised Kenzo for his continued efforts in advocating for artists, particularly his role in pushing forward discussions around copyright law in Uganda.
This shift in tone hints at a possible end to the brief friction, with mutual respect seemingly taking center stage between the two singers.
