Having been married to Andrew Kabuura for seven years, we would like to believe that experience is the best teacher in Flavia’s world, and when she speaks, you better listen.

She says that at just 21, one shouldn’t be looking at locking themselves into life-long commitments. Instead, they should be chasing growth, ambition, and building the kind of future one actually wants.

Flavia reminded the youth that time is on their side. “There’s still a lot of time, make good use of it,” she urges, warning against the sadness, emptiness, and pressure that comes with rushing into things too early.

“When you rush or run, you’ll crush and probably be divorcing at 31.” says Flavia Tumusiime. She also emphasized that the best commitments are made when you’re ready, not when you’re pressured.
