Full Figure: Bobi Wine has outgrown the ‘Big Three’ music rivalry

Presidential advisor Jennifer Nakangubi, popularly known as Full Figure, has weighed in on the long-standing rivalry between Uganda’s once-dominant music trio — Bobi Wine, Dr Jose Chameleone, and Bebe Cool — declaring that the contest no longer exists.

Speaking candidly, Full Figure said Bobi Wine has moved far beyond the level of his former musical competitors, arguing that the NUP president’s rise into national and international politics has permanently shifted his status.

The three musicians, often referred to as Uganda’s Big Three, spent years competing at the peak of the music industry, with fans constantly debating who reigned supreme. But according to Full Figure, Chameleone and Bebe Cool “slept off” at a critical moment and allowed Bobi Wine to sprint far ahead — a gap she says can no longer be closed.

 “They let Bobi Wine run alone, and now they can’t catch up. Even if he stopped today, the legacy he has built is bigger than theirs,” Full Figure said.

She added that even if Bobi Wine does not eventually win the presidency, his influence and footprint already surpass those of his former rivals in music. In her view, Bobi Wine should not be measured against musicians anymore.

Full Figure went further to argue that Bobi Wine’s real competition was never President Yoweri Museveni, whom she described as operating on a completely different level. According to her, Museveni is revered across Africa and globally, placing him far above the NUP leader in stature and experience.

She also noted that during the height of the Bobi Wine–Bebe Cool rivalry, the Gagamel boss was clearly dominant musically over the Firebase president. However, she acknowledged that the situation has since changed dramatically, with Bobi Wine soaring into spaces his former peers can no longer access.
