Ugandan singer Jackie Chandiru has emotionally opened up about one of the saddest moments in her life, revealing a painful regret involving her late father.

While appearing on NRG Radio Uganda in a conversation with Mr. Henrie, the former Blu 3 member was asked whether there is anything in her life she still regrets.

The Agassi singer admitted that one of the biggest regrets she carries is the time she spent not speaking to her father after a misunderstanding between them.

According to Jackie, the disagreement led to a long period of silence where the two stopped communicating. She explained that although her father attempted to reach out, she chose to stay quiet because she was deeply hurt and wanted him to understand how upset she was.

“My dad tried to reach out but I kept silent because I was hurt. I wanted him to know how upset I was at the time,” Jackie revealed.

The singer said the situation took a heartbreaking turn when her father later fell seriously ill. At that point, she had already planned to visit him and mend their relationship.

Unfortunately, fate had other plans.

“I had planned to see him and talk to him, but I had a show on Sunday. Sadly, he passed away on Friday night before I could make things right,” she said.

Jackie revealed that those who were around her father before his passing told her that he had already apologized and forgiven her, something that deeply moved and broke her.

The emotional moment left the singer reflecting on how fragile life can be and how easily opportunities to reconcile can slip away.

Now, the artist says that if she were given another chance, she would simply tell her father that everything was okay, that she had forgiven him, and that she loved him deeply.

Her story has since resonated with many fans online, with social media users emphasizing the importance of making peace with loved ones while there is still time.
