Appearing on Amasengejje Extra on Sanyuka TV, he expressed that he had hoped the music industry would gain stronger representation in politics which unfortunately didn’t work out but he has urged colleagues to accept the results and regroup for 2031.

At the same time, Kalifah addressed speculation that he has abandoned music for politics. He was so quick to dismiss these rumours insisting that music remains his “garden.”

According to him, venturing into politics was simply about exploring new career opportunities stressing the fact that his musical legacy is already secure and isn’t going anywhere.

Looking ahead, he also revealed plans for a major concert this year to mark 15 years in the music industry. The celebration will take place at Kampala Serena Hotel, a venue that reflects his growth as an artist.

“I’ve grown in music and now sing for an established audience. I’m confident they’ll come out and support me fully,” he said, promising to announce the exact date soon.
