Ugandan musician Kapeke has come out to reflect on what he describes as one of the most prosperous years of his life and career. Appearing on Galaxy FM, the Simanyi singer was asked to mention some of the biggest achievements he recorded in the just-concluded year of 2025.

Kapeke revealed that one of his proudest moments was traveling abroad for the very first time. He noted that while international travel may seem ordinary to some people, a first-time experience carries deep meaning and personal fulfillment.
“For someone who has never flown out of the country before, that first trip is a very big achievement. It might sound small to others, but to me it meant everything,” Kapeke said.
The singer also shared that 2025 marked a major lifestyle change for him, as he finally stopped moving on motorcycles and purchased his own cars. Kapeke disclosed that he now owns two vehicles, something he once considered impossible.
