• Kasuku led digital influencers at Jazz With Jajja 2 in Rwakitura.
  • President Museveni reportedly pledged Shs5 billion to support their initiatives.
  • A follow-up meeting will discuss implementation and fund utilization.

Following the second edition of Jazz With Jajja, media personality Isaac Katende, popularly known as Kasuku, is set to meet President Yoweri Museveni again in the coming days.

The engagement, held at the President’s country home in Kisozi, Gomba, brought together members of the media fraternity, particularly TikTokers and YouTubers, under Kasuku’s coordination. The event followed the success of the inaugural edition, which attracted key figures including First Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni and First Daughter Natasha Karugire.

While addressing the President, Kasuku revealed that he leads a structured association of online media influencers committed to supporting government programs.

“Your Excellency, we have organized ourselves as digital creators and we are ready to work with government to promote development,” Kasuku said.

During the discussions, President Museveni reportedly pledged Shs5 billion to support the group’s initiatives. Kasuku later requested a follow-up meeting to discuss how the funds and programs would be implemented, and the President granted the request.

Kasuku also appealed for empowerment through the 4-acre model, which President Museveni has consistently promoted as a vehicle for wealth creation and poverty alleviation.

“We are also Ugandans who want to benefit from wealth creation programs so that we can improve our livelihoods,” he added.

He congratulated the President on his recent electoral victory and expressed optimism about the upcoming term, saying the renewed energy shown at the start signals positive progress for the country.

However, the Kisozi ranch meeting drew mixed reactions from the public, with some applauding the inclusion of digital media voices, while others questioned how the Shs5 billion will be distributed and managed.
