Gospel singer Levixone has dismissed viral AI-generated images circulating on social media that falsely depict him with dreadlocks and fuel claims that his wife, Desire Luzinda, is expecting a child.

The Chikibombe hitmaker, who has been one of Uganda’s leading gospel artists for almost two decades, said the images are not real and urged fans to be cautious about content created using artificial intelligence.

Addressing the rumours, Levixone clarified that the widely shared pregnancy photos were generated using AI and do not reflect reality. Nevertheless, he appreciated the love and prayers from fans who congratulated the couple.

“The pregnancy photos are not true, but I appreciate everyone wishing us well. When the right time comes, the truth will be known because the truth cannot be hidden forever,” Levixone said.

The singer added that he is already a father, while his wife, Desire Luzinda, has a daughter, Michelle Kaddu. He emphasized that his family will share personal milestones when they are ready.

On the separate images showing him with dreadlocks, Levixone laughed off the speculation, saying he has not changed his appearance and remains committed to his Christian beliefs.

“Those dreadlocks are AI-generated. As a born-again Christian, I have not plaited my hair. I don’t judge those who choose that style because only God is the judge,” he explained.

Levixone further noted that he prefers revealing important developments in his life at the appropriate time rather than responding to every rumour online. He encouraged supporters to rely on verified information and assured them that whenever there is genuine news about his family or career, he will communicate it personally.
