Media personality and female DJ Lynda Ddane has defended the outfit she wore at Etania’s concert in Lugogo, following heavy criticism from social media users who accused her of dressing inappropriately.

Lynda attended the recently concluded show alongside her boyfriend DJ KasBaby, where she appeared in ripped short shorts that exposed much of her body. Shortly after videos and photos from the event circulated online, netizens quickly called her out, with some branding her look indecent.
However, Lynda says the criticism is unfair and selective.
She explained that many of the people on the DJ set and at the party were dressed in a similar way, but she is the one being singled out because of her body shape.

“Everyone at the party was dressed for the vibe, but people only focused on me because I’m thick while others are smaller in size.”
“It was a weekend party and the theme matched the environment. There was no way I was going to show up in long clothes.”
According to Lynda, the outfit matched the mood, theme and setting of the concert, adding that it was a celebration where people had come out to enjoy themselves.
She also made it clear that public criticism does not bother her, saying people often use her name for social media engagement because discussions around her generate clicks, likes and attention.
Lynda further hit back at those attacking her age and lifestyle, saying people should stop trying to dictate how she lives her life.
Beyond the outfit debate, she also praised Etania for staging a successful concert at Lugogo. She dismissed claims that the show’s success was mainly because of Joshua Baraka’s star power, insisting that Etania deserves full credit for delivering a memorable event.
She urged critics to “take a chill pill” and appreciate the singer’s hard work instead of shifting the spotlight away from her achievement.
