Speaking during an interview on Galaxy FM, the “Balo Balo” hitmaker explained why he has shifted his focus to developing male talent after recently introducing a new male artist.

Mudra dismissed suggestions that female artists usually leave after he invests in their careers, insisting that this has never been the main issue.

“It’s not that they leave me after I groom them. The biggest challenge is that managing a female artist is much more expensive and demanding.”

According to Mudra, male artists are generally more flexible and can easily adapt to different working conditions, making them easier to manage.

“A male artist can quickly jump on a boda boda, eat anywhere, and be ready for an interview. With female artists, there’s makeup, transport preferences, and many other preparations. It’s hectic and requires resources.”

Mudra added that these extra demands make it difficult for him to sustain female artists with the resources currently available to him.

Over the years, the singer has worked with several female artists, including Ava Peace and Winnie Wa Mummy, helping shape their careers before they eventually moved on. His latest comments suggest he is now prioritizing male artists as he continues to expand his music label.

While his remarks have sparked debate among music fans, Mudra maintains that his decision is based on practical management considerations rather than personal differences with female musicians.
