Singer-turned-politician Nina Roz is setting her sights on the 2031 general elections, vowing to represent the people of Ssembabule once again.

The artist, who previously ran on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket for Woman MP and finished third in a close race won by NRM’s Florence Nambazira, says her determination hasn’t wavered.

“I gave it my all during the elections, and I’ll be back next time,” she said, adding that her fight is for the people of Ssembabule, “who have been silenced for too long.”

Looking back on her campaign, Nina Roz admitted it was both financially draining and emotionally tough, especially after losing some fans who distanced themselves because of her political stance.

Now, she’s reaching out to those supporters, encouraging them to reconnect through her music. “Elections are over—come back. Let’s not let this divide us,” she said, reminding fans that her artistry remains a space for unity.

She also shared advice for anyone considering a political path: come prepared, both financially and spiritually. “Politics isn’t as easy as eating food,” she cautioned. “If you don’t have God, it’s a tough journey—so embrace Him as you step into the race.”
