- Nutty Neithan says Empress was never taken from Maro and dismisses the rumors as false
- He confirms they share two children and are peacefully co-parenting after a mutual breakup
- The singer also reveals rejected songwriting work, including a song meant for Lydia Jazmine
Musician Nutty Neithan has dismissed long-standing rumors that he snatched his baby mama and ex lover, Empress from his former boss, Maro, calling the claims false and misleading.

The rumors date back to the period when Maro ran a record label known as the Vocal Police that signed several artists, including Empress and Nutty Neithan. It was during this time that Nutty Neithan and Empress met and later started a relationship.
Speaking on the Deep Talk on Galaxy TV with host Roger Otis, Nutty Neithan revealed that he and Empress were indeed in a relationship and share two children — a boy and a girl. He, however, clarified that the relationship has since ended, but the two remain on good terms and are successfully co-parenting.
“We separated mutually and with respect. That’s why co-parenting has been easy. I’m not the kind of person who does stunts, which is why my personal life has largely stayed private,” Nutty Neithan said.

Addressing claims that Empress was dating Maro at the time and that he allegedly “snatched” her, the Kwata Ecuupa singer firmly denied the accusation. He explained that Maro was in a relationship with his Mzungu lover, whom he is still with today.
Nutty Neithan added that it would have been unthinkable for him to betray someone who discovered his talent and gave him a chance in the industry, insisting the rumors were completely off the mark.
Previously, Maro himself dismissed any bad blood between the two, stating that he had no problem with his former protégé, a position that aligns with Nutty Neithan’s account.
Beyond his personal life, Nutty Neithan also spoke about his behind-the-scenes work in the music industry, particularly songwriting. He revealed that some of his compositions have been rejected by established artists due to pride and management decisions.
He cited Lydia Jazmine, saying he wrote the song Emu Temala, which was initially intended for her, but was turned down by her management at the time. Nutty Neithan has also written songs for artists such as Cesarous, among others.
