Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga has encouraged young people to be more courageous when it comes to expressing their feelings, particularly in matters of love.

The Katikkiro urged young men who have feelings for women to stop holding back and confidently communicate their intentions instead of allowing fear to stand in their way.

“Go and tell that woman what you think of her. Why are you a coward? We don’t want any cowards in this new era,” he said.

However, while encouraging young people to be bold in pursuing relationships, Mayiga also weighed in on the expectations some women have when choosing a partner.

He acknowledged that women are entitled to express their opinions about the kind of man they would like to marry, but cautioned against expecting to find someone who possesses every desired quality.
