• Ronald Alimpa has asked the public for help as he faces serious financial struggles.
  • The singer denied rumors that he is battling drug addiction, saying hunger is the real issue.
  • Despite the challenges, Alimpa hopes to rebuild his career with a new hit song.

Singer Ronald Alimpa, best known for his hit song Lusuku Lwa Cement, has made an emotional appeal to the public for support as he opened up about the hardships he is currently facing.

Speaking during an interview on Spark TV Uganda, the singer shared that despite the popularity of his music, it has not translated into the financial stability many people assume he enjoys.

According to Alimpa, many fans recognize his songs but don’t actually know him personally, which has created the impression that he is living comfortably.

“People know my music, but they don’t know me in person,” he explained, noting that the fame from his songs has led many to believe he is financially secure when the reality is very different.

The singer revealed that there was a time when life seemed to be going well. He had settled down, married, and had even been officially introduced to his wife’s parents.

However, things later fell apart after financial disagreements with some friends and relatives, whose identities he chose not to disclose.

Now, Alimpa says he is going through one of the toughest periods of his life.

“At the moment, I have nothing. I have no wife, child, or money,” he said, expressing deep frustration and sadness about how much his situation has changed.

Despite the challenges, the singer remains hopeful that he can rebuild his career. He said he is working toward releasing another hit song that could help him regain his footing in the music industry and start over.

Alimpa also admitted that his current struggles have affected how people treat him, saying he feels that the respect he once received has faded.

Addressing rumors circulating online, the singer strongly denied claims that he is battling drug addiction.

“I am not on drugs,” he clarified. “I’m just hungry and I need help.”
