- Sandra Teta defended Weasel Manizo after critics mocked his new album announcement.
- She urged fans to support artists instead of discouraging them online.
- Teta also highlighted Weasel’s successful musical legacy with the late Mowzey Radio.
Sandra Teta has come to the defense of her husband, singer Weasel Manizo, after some social media users mocked him following his announcement about releasing a new album.

Weasel recently revealed that he is working on a new album that he hopes to drop soon. However, the announcement sparked mixed reactions online. While many fans welcomed the news and expressed excitement, others were less supportive.
One commenter even suggested that the singer should quit music altogether and instead consider doing business in Kikuubo, implying that he is no longer relevant in the music industry.
Sandra Teta did not take the criticism lightly. She quickly stepped in to defend the father of her children, calling on fans to support artists rather than discourage them.

“Weasel has been in this industry for more than 10 years, and it’s time to support him. Why would someone discourage him before understanding what he’s going through?” she asked.
Sandra also reminded critics about Weasel’s musical journey with the late Moses Ssekibogo, popularly known as Radio. The two formed one of Uganda’s most successful music duos and complemented each other’s talents.
According to her, Radio would never have worked so closely with Weasel if he did not believe in his ability.
“Radio chose to work with Weasle because he saw his abilities and so should we. Unfortunately, we lost him but that doesn’t mean that we should discredit Weasle in the process,” she said.
