- Lil Pazo says entertainers in politics failed to deliver for voters and the music industry
- He praises citizens for voting out underperforming musician-politicians
- The singer urges defeated leaders to return to an entertainment industry that has since changed
Musician Lil Pazo has openly mocked fellow entertainers who failed to retain or win political positions in the just concluded parliamentary and presidential elections, saying their exit from power is a relief to both voters and the entertainment industry.

In the 2021 elections, several musicians and entertainers successfully crossed into politics, winning parliamentary seats and other leadership positions across the country. However, the latest elections did not favor many of them, with most either losing their seats or failing to make it through at the ballot.
According to Lil Pazo, the outcome reflects public dissatisfaction with how these entertainers performed while in office. He said many of them failed to make a meaningful impact on their constituencies or advance the interests of the entertainment industry despite riding on popularity from music.
“People voted them out because they did nothing special for the people or the industry. Some even said they were not elected by entertainers, so they didn’t owe the industry anything,” Lil Pazo said.

The singer added that voters deserve credit for making what he described as the “right decision,” arguing that leadership requires more than fame. He went on to urge the defeated politicians to return to music, warning that the industry has evolved during their time in politics.
Lil Pazo further joked that those who got used to wearing suits in Parliament will now have to adjust to an industry that has changed both in sound and style, noting that vulgar lyrics and bold content are now more common for artists seeking relevance.
When asked about individuals like Hilderman, who was actively involved in pushing for copyright law reforms for musicians, Lil Pazo declined to single out names. He maintained that his focus was on appreciating voters who chose to vote out entertainers he believes underperformed while in leadership.
He concluded by saying it is best for everyone to focus on what they do best, adding that politics should be left to those ready to fully serve the people.
