- Shalom Kaweesi says his Gayaza house will be completed around May.
- He plans to keep living with his wife in a rented apartment.
- The TikToker says the house will instead be occupied by his mother and sister.
YouTube personality Shalom Kaweesi has revealed that he is not ready to move his wife into his newly constructed house in Gayaza, despite the project nearing completion.

Speaking during an appearance on a podcast hosted by singer Kazibwe Kapo, Shalom said the house is expected to be finished around May. He plans to invite a few close friends and family members to celebrate the milestone once construction is complete.
However, the YouTuber made it clear that his wife will not be moving into the house anytime soon. According to Shalom, he intends to continue living with her in a rented apartment while the new property remains under his control.
“I have struggled to build this house from my own sweat, including money from sports betting and other hustles. I am not ready to lose it to a woman,” Shalom said.

Shalom explained that he has witnessed several men lose property to partners after relationships turned sour. He referenced media personality Suuna Ben as one example of a case that influenced his decision.
To safeguard the property, Shalom said he plans to have his mother and sister live in the Gayaza home on his behalf.
When asked by Kazibwe Kapo what he intends to do for his baby mama, Shalom said he could eventually build her a separate house, stressing that the Gayaza property is meant for him and his children.
“This house is mine and it will remain mine no matter what,” he insisted.
Kazibwe Kapo, however, challenged Shalom’s stance, arguing that there is a major difference between cohabiting and legal marriage, warning that if a spouse decided to claim the home, public opinion could easily turn against him.
