• Kapa Cat says she fears labour and raising children.
  • The singer plans to start a home for vulnerable children in the future.
  • She denied rumors that she secretly has children.

Ugandan dancer and singer Catherine Tumusiime, popularly known as Kapa Cat, has revealed why she is not ready to have children anytime soon.

The Dansolo singer said that although many people keep asking her about starting a family, she personally fears pregnancy and raising children. Because of that fear, she does not see herself giving birth in the near future.

Kapa Cat explained that instead of having her own children, she hopes to one day start a home where she can take care of vulnerable children once she has enough money.

“I fear labour and I also fear kids. I don’t think I am ready to go through that,” Kapa Cat explained.

“When I get the money, I would rather start a home and help children who already need support instead of adding more problems to the world.”

The singer also dismissed rumors that she secretly has children. According to her, she has never given birth and the claims circulating on social media are false.

Kapa Cat also clarified that her decision has nothing to do with a lack of men in her life. She said there are many men who would want to have children with her, but she simply does not feel ready.

“I have many options,” she said, adding that men of all kinds approach her, including tall, short, rich, poor, handsome and even those she jokingly described as “ugly.”

Family, marriage and children remain common topics among fans when it comes to female musicians. Many artists often face pressure from the public about when they plan to settle down or start families, especially if they have spent many years in the music industry without publicly known relationships.
