• Tracy Melon says her Mercedes-Benz was a surprise gift from a private admirer
  • She responds calmly to Bebe Cool’s claim of not knowing her
  • The singer is focused on growing her brand and industry presence

Ugandan singer Tracy Melon has finally addressed the buzz surrounding her recently unveiled luxury Mercedes-Benz, a sleek machine that sparked widespread speculation online

The “Kakana” hitmaker left fans stunned after sharing clips of the high-end ride, prompting questions about how she could afford such a purchase despite maintaining a relatively low profile in the music scene over the past two years.

In an interview with Brian McConer on Sanika TV, Tracy clarified that she did not buy the car herself. Instead, she revealed it was a gift from a private admirer.

“I didn’t expect it at all. It was given to me as appreciation for my music and how I carry myself,” she said.

The singer declined to reveal the identity of the giver, noting that the individual prefers to stay out of the public eye.

“Some people genuinely support you quietly. Not everything has to be public,” she added.

Tracy also addressed comments made by veteran artist Bebe Cool, who previously stated he did not know who she was. Rather than taking offense, she responded with calm confidence, saying it is possible for people to know songs without knowing the artist behind them.

She emphasized that it is now her responsibility to build a stronger personal brand and ensure her name resonates as much as her music.

Despite past doubts, Tracy Melon has been one of the most consistent hitmakers in recent years, and her growing recognition suggests her hard work is beginning to pay off.
