Speaking during an appearance on Galaxy FM’s The Deep Talk show, Hannah shared that the problem started shortly after she was crowned Miss Uganda and has continued over the years despite her efforts to stop it.

“Ever since I became Miss Uganda, I’ve had so many people impersonate me,” she explained, noting that several fake accounts bearing her name continue to appear across different social media platforms.

According to Hannah, many people often struggle to distinguish between her real accounts and the fake ones, even though she operates a verified page.

She said she has repeatedly tried to warn the public about the impersonators, but the scammers remain persistent.

She further revealed that the fraudsters go to extreme lengths to appear convincing, including using her old videos during video calls with victims.

“They call these people and use my old videos while on video call,” she explained, adding that she still doesn’t fully understand the exact motives behind the scams.

The beauty queen also disclosed that she has taken legal action before, including reporting the cases and pressing charges against some individuals involved.

However, she says the people behind the impersonation schemes continue to evolve and remain difficult to track down.
