Ugandan rapper Feffe Bussi has opened up about the inspiration behind the oversized outfit he wore during his recently concluded Hiphop Ku Ntiko concert held at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

While appearing on Sanyuka TV, the rapper explained that his stage outfit was intentionally designed to pay tribute to the roots and culture of HipHop music.
According to Feffe Bussi, the attire was created by fashion designer Real Homie and drew heavy inspiration from old-school HipHop fashion where rappers were known for rocking oversized shirts, baggy jeans, and extra-large outfits.

The rapper revealed that because the concert was centered around celebrating HipHop culture, he felt it was important to revive the classic style that defined the genre during its earlier years.
“I figured that since I was trying to celebrate HipHop, I had to re-live those moments where we would wear baggy shirts and pants,” Feffe Bussi explained.
He also humorously reflected on his journey in the rap industry, saying that back in the day he used to be the “smallest rapper,” but now he considers himself among the biggest, which is why everything about his appearance had to be big as well.
Beyond the fashion statement, Feffe Bussi used the opportunity to appreciate fans, fellow artists, and supporters who turned up in huge numbers for the Hiphop Ku Ntiko concert.
The rapper noted that the overwhelming support and electrifying energy from revelers showed how much Ugandans continue to appreciate rap music and HipHop culture.
He added that he does not take the love and support for granted, especially during a time when local rap concerts continue to gain momentum and attract massive audiences.
