Former Miss Uganda and media personality Stellah Nantumbwe, popularly known as Ellah, has finally addressed the growing public speculation surrounding her marriage, making it clear that her private life is not up for public debate.

Rumours about Ellah’s marriage have been circulating in recent weeks, with reports claiming that the union ended prematurely just months after it began. However, while speaking to Sanuka TV’s Helen Menta during Karole Kasita’s concert at Serena Hotel on Friday night, the former beauty queen declined to confirm or deny the reports.

“My love life is not the subject of public opinion,” Ellah said.
The former Big Brother Africa representative noted that regardless of public curiosity, there is no way she can satisfy everyone’s expectations or explain personal matters to millions of people.
“People should keep speculating because I cannot fit all the 45 million Ugandans into my marriage. My marriage is private,” she added.
Ellah further stressed that she has no intention of exposing her personal relationships to the public and urged people to respect her boundaries.
The former Miss Uganda, who later transitioned into gospel ministry after gaining continental recognition through the now-defunct Big Brother Africa reality show, remains one of Uganda’s most recognizable public figures.
Over the years, Ellah has maintained a strong public presence, something she admits naturally attracts attention and discussion about her personal life.
Despite the ongoing speculation, Ellah chose to keep details of her marriage away from the spotlight, insisting that some aspects of life are meant to remain private regardless of public interest.
