Musician Feffe Bussi has shared some candid advice for fellow artists planning to stage concerts, warning that the experience is far more demanding than many people imagine.

Fresh from his successful concert held at Lugogo Cricket Oval last month, the rapper said organizing a concert requires immense physical, mental, and financial commitment. According to him, artists who are struggling with chronic illnesses or are not in a stable state of mind should think carefully before taking on such a demanding venture.
“A concert is not something you wake up and do. It requires a lot of energy, planning, sacrifice and commitment. If your health is not in the right place, you need to be careful,” Feffe Bussi said.
Despite the challenges, the rapper expressed confidence in several artists who are preparing for upcoming concerts, including Lydia Jazmine and Vinka. However, he cautioned musicians who are yet to build a strong fan base against rushing into organizing major shows.

Feffe Bussi also weighed in on the ongoing disagreements that sometimes arise between artists who collaborate on songs, referencing recent industry discussions sparked by disputes over music royalties and benefits.
“For me, whenever I decide to collaborate with an artist, I cover all the expenses—from audio and video production to styling and other costs. That way, when money starts coming in, there is no confusion about who invested what,” he explained.
The rapper cited his hit collaboration “Nze Alina” as an example of this approach, noting that taking full responsibility for production costs helps avoid future conflicts.
He advised artists who cannot comfortably finance collaborative projects to carefully consider the risks involved, arguing that disagreements often emerge when partners have differing expectations about financial returns.
According to Fefe Busi, clear arrangements from the start are the key to maintaining healthy working relationships in the music industry.
