Popular Ugandan DJ, influencer and media personality Zahara Totto has revealed that she spends more than Shs1.8 million every day on her personal expenses.

Speaking during a sit-down chat with Shalom Kawesi, Zahara explained that her daily expenditure covers everything from clothes and phone usage to fuel and other costs associated with her lifestyle.

Zahara said she does not normally repeat outfits, meaning she regularly spends money on what she wears. She also pointed to her expensive phone, which she said costs more than Shs9 million, as another source of expenditure because she keeps her mobile data on throughout the day.

“I don’t do WhatsApp calls. I call directly,” Zahara said, explaining that her phone usage contributes significantly to her daily costs.

She also compared her spending on fuel to owning an expensive vehicle, saying it would be unrealistic to expect a powerful car to consume fuel like a smaller, more economical vehicle.

According to Zahara, the car she drives is “monstrous” and requires a significant amount of fuel, adding to her daily expenses. She said other costs simply come from going about her daily activities.

Zahara acknowledged that she enjoys spending money but noted that she is not among influencers who constantly post their lifestyles online.

“I am beauty with brains. I am not like the other brown babes who people accuse of not being hardworking,” she said.

Beyond entertainment and influencing, Zahara also spoke about her aviation career. She said she is currently working toward completing her aviation training and undertaking another flight course as she pursues her goal of becoming a fully qualified pilot.

She described herself as a MC, DJ, influencer and entrepreneur, insisting that there is more to her than the lifestyle seen on social media.
