DJ Alisha has dismissed rumours that she was once romantically involved with a pastor, making it clear that marrying a religious leader is something she would never consider.

Speaking on Play It Loud on #ThePickUpbyPrim, the DJ addressed the rumours that circulated a while back, openly sharing her views about religion, spirituality and relationships.
“I wouldn’t get married to a pastor even if he was the last man standing on earth,” she said, adding that she does not particularly align with religious people.
Alisha explained that she believes God speaks to everyone as long as they are willing to listen. She also emphasised the importance of being authentic, arguing that some Christians are not always genuine about their faith and the things they do.

“I don’t think there’s a pastor with power to heal me or change me because I truly believe that it all comes from God,” she said.
She further questioned the idea that human beings have the authority to determine who gets blessed or cursed, maintaining that such power belongs to God alone.
According to Alisha, people need to be more connected to their inner spirits and stop being overly concerned with what others are doing. She stressed that everyone should be allowed to practise their spirituality without being judged or monitored by others.
“Some of y’all are monitoring spirits,” she concluded.
