Ugandan singer Geosteady has surprised fans and the public after revealing that he is currently single, while also opening up about how he is handling life away from a relationship.

During a video posted on TikTok, the “Viola” singer said he is currently enjoying his own company and has no problem with being single.

“So for now, I am single. And I am single, contented and sleeping. I sleep too much, I eat too much,” Geosteady said.

The singer also joked about how much water he drinks, saying his frequent trips to the bathroom even keep him away from some of the “lugambo” that often happens around him.

Geosteady, however, acknowledged that questions about his relationship status were expected, especially given his highly publicised romantic history.

“I expect such kind of questions, but depressed? No. But as any other person, you can feel a little bit hard because you’ve invested your time and things like that,” he said.
