Prima Kadarshi has come to the defence of veteran Ugandan musician Bebe Cool against critics who often claim that his wealth is a result of government money.

Prima argued that Bebe Cool is a music legend who has earned much of what he has through his music career, noting that music can be a lucrative business.

“Bebe Cool is a legend who has done music. Music is a very good business,” she said.

She added that even if Bebe Cool’s wife woke up one day and drove a Maybach or bought a house worth a million dollars, it would not be surprising because, in her view, the musician is worth that kind of lifestyle.

Prima further noted that Bebe Cool has been a star for over two decades and has consistently worked throughout his career, suggesting that his success and wealth should not automatically be attributed to government support.

She also compared Bebe Cool’s wife to prominent celebrity wives such as Chioma, the wife of Nigerian singer Davido, and Wizkid’s partner, suggesting that she deserves a similar level of recognition and status in Uganda.
