  • DJ Nimrod told Galaxy TV’s The Deep Talk that Uganda’s legendary Big Three should retire from the music scene.
  • The DJ claimed legends like Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool have already achieved everything and have nothing left to prove.
  • Nimrod’s spicy take also targeted veterans like Juliana Kanyomozi and Irene Namubiru to step aside for new talent.

DJ Nimrod was recently hosted on Galaxy TV’s The Deep Talk show, hosted by Rogers Otis, where he shared his opinion on artists from the generation of Uganda’s Big Three.

According to DJ Nimrod, artists from that generation should consider retiring from music because they have already achieved so much and have little left to prove in the industry.

The Big Three comprise Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone, who have been prominent figures in Uganda’s music industry for years.

“Artists within that generation should be quitting music at the moment because they’ve done it all and they have nothing more to prove,” he said.

DJ Nimrod also extended his remarks to other established musicians from the same generation, including Juliana Kanyomozi and Irene Namubiru, among many others.

His comments raise questions about whether veteran artists should step aside to give younger musicians more room to grow or continue making music as long as they remain passionate about it.
