While appearing on NRG Radio, the singer was asked whether friendships among celebrities, particularly musicians, are genuine or simply performative.

In response, Karole noted that artists hardly have enough time to invest in friendships because maintaining them requires time, effort, and commitment.

“Friendships are very expensive that demand quality time, outings, and being there for your friends,” she said, adding that music as a career often makes it difficult for artists to give their friends the attention they need.

She further explained that two artists who are friends can go as long as four months without seeing each other because they are both occupied with their respective careers.

According to Karole, this makes it difficult for musicians to build strong and lasting connections, even when they genuinely like each other.

“It’s very hard to build a true connection in the industry. You might like someone but fail to get time to make the friendship work,” she concluded.
