Ugandan singer Kapeke has revealed that the highest amount he has ever been paid for a single performance is Shs14 million.

The singer shared that he landed the lucrative booking in Arua, proudly noting that despite his small stature, he commands significant demand among music lovers.

“I am a small body, big engine,” he bragged, adding that while some people may judge or despise him because of his physical appearance, his demand among fans speaks for itself.

Kapeke also revealed that he is not in a hurry to organise a concert of his own, explaining that he still wants to release more music before taking that step.

According to the singer, he wants to reach a point where he has enough songs to give his fans a memorable experience from start to finish.

“I want to perform for my people when I’m comfortable that I’m going to give them song after song,” he said.
