She explained that she has always reminded them that their actions reflect not only on themselves but also on their mother, whose name and reputation they should strive to protect.

“I have always told them that even as they grow and try to make a life for themselves, they should know that they are not just representing themselves but also their mother, who has a name to protect,” Nakazibwe said.

She added that she has openly shared the sacrifices she has made to give her children a good life, explaining that one of the best ways they can appreciate her efforts is by growing into responsible, well-mannered individuals.

Nakazibwe further described herself as a traditional parent who believes in firm discipline, noting that she does not take wrongdoing lightly when it comes to raising her children.

“I am a traditional parent, so when I know that my children have done something wrong, I cannot just spare the rod because, as the Bible says, you spoil the child,” she explained.

Beyond parenting, Nakazibwe also reflected on her transition from mainstream television, dismissing suggestions that moving away from her former media role had been particularly difficult.

She said she had embraced the transition and continued to live with dignity, maintaining her identity and protecting the reputation she built during her years in the media industry.

According to Nakazibwe, part of maintaining her peace has been learning to avoid matters that do not concern her instead of involving herself in unnecessary situations.

Her remarks offer a glimpse into the personal principles that continue to guide her life beyond the newsroom, with discipline, personal responsibility and peace of mind remaining central to her approach.
