The singer further claimed that he has built his music career and conquered the Ugandan entertainment scene while remaining based in Uganda, unlike some of his competitors whom he accused of relocating abroad in search of sponsors and opportunities.
According to Alien Skin, his decision to stay home and grow his brand locally makes his success more significant and gives him unmatched influence within the industry.
“I chased foreign musicians away before and I will do it again because Ugandan music must be respected,” he added.
Alien Skin also voiced frustration over the growing dominance of Nigerian musicians on Uganda’s music scene. He argued that local artists are often overlooked while foreign performers, including relatively unknown acts, are brought into the country and paid heavily.
The controversial singer further criticized fellow Ugandan musicians, particularly established artists whom he accused of undermining one another and damaging their own brands during entertainment events.
Despite the criticism, Alien Skin believes his return will shake up the industry once again as he seeks to reclaim what he describes as Uganda’s musical space.
